What Nerd clusters are best?
We use these ones from Amazon. There are a lot of different options on that site, plus others out there.
If we can find them at a local store, though, we will definitely get them there. They’re usually cheaper.
How do I freeze dry Nerd Clusters?
I would only do one layer on each tray. I wouldn’t put them too close together, but if they end up that way, as you can see in my images below, it’s not a big deal. Nothing is going to die or “not work”. Just try to give them plenty of room to grow.
Candy Setting
I don’t love this setting. I also never piggy backed my candy in a load. I tried it one time and swore I’d never do it again. But again, to each their own. Your kitchen, your rules.
Look at how fluffy those are! Wow, you can almost feel the crunchiness of the candy. A little bit harder than cotton candy and definitely more tart.
